At West Town Bakery, we turn your wedding cake dreams into reality, and we’ve been crafting beautiful wedding cakes in Chicago since 2010.

Our cake decorators collaborate with you to design a cake that’s as unique as your love story, selecting from our array of delectable flavors, fillings, and finishes. We specialize in creating beautiful, personalized cakes that reflect your style and celebrate your special day.

Our tiered wedding cakes start at $7 per serving, with a minimum order of 50 servings for custom designs. For smaller celebrations, we can accommodate you with one of our traditional custom cakes.  

For consultations, we recommend meeting with our team at least four months prior to your wedding.

Your Custom Cake Journey

We’re so excited to create your dream cake! Here’s what you can expect from our talented cake decorators:

  • Timeframes:
    • Most custom cakes require at least 7-10 days’ notice, especially during peak seasons or for intricate designs.
    • Need a cake sooner? We’ll do our best to accommodate rush orders, so check out our Signature Cakes Page where you can also Build Your Own.
  • Crafting Your Masterpiece:
    • Even seemingly simple custom cakes involve several hours of careful baking, cooling, and decorating.
    • More elaborate designs can take anywhere from 5-10 hours or more of dedicated artistry. This specialized skill and time is reflected in the pricing.

  • Important Notes:

    • All orders require at least a 50% deposit before they are confirmed.
    • Orders for delivery may require a larger deposit. Please indicate the delivery address for an accurate quote.
    • We kindly request a 5-day notice for cancellations.
    • A minimum 20% cancellation fee applies to all custom orders.
    • Due to their personalized nature, we cannot accept returns on custom cakes.
